Binley Woods Village

Friends of Brandon Wood

Brandon Wood lies about 6 km east of Coventry and covers a total area of 178 acres.

Since 1981 it has been maintained and improved by voluntary workers from the Friends of Brandon Wood and is now reverting to natural broad-leaved woodland.

Brandon Wood will remain in the hands of the community in perpetuity.

The Church in Binley Woods

A friendly local church based in the village of Binley Woods to the east of Coventry. They meet on Sunday mornings at 10:30 in the Binley Woods Village Hall.

Services normally end before 12.00 noon, and afterwards you can stay for tea or coffee and a chat.

Our Parish Council

The role of the Parish Council is to make Binley Woods a pleasant place to live.

The Parish Council meets once each month with the exception of August. The agenda is displayed on the notice boards and on the website.

Should you wish an item be put before the Council, please contact the Clerk in writing seven days prior to the meeting with your comments or questions.

Warwickshire Mobile Library

Mobile Library Service - Bringing the library to you
The library van visits the Binley Woods Village Hall Car Park every Wednesday from 13:15 to 14:15. Then stops at Craven Avenue (next to the shops) from 14:30 to 15:30.

- A selection of books, including large print
- Spoken word
- Books for young children

Each mobile library is accessible with a low entrance of two small steps and a ramp at the rear for wheelchair users.

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area.

The Coventry Ramblers

Founded in 1983, we are a thriving Group based in Coventry in the West Midlands, with about 300 members, offering a wide variety of rambles to suit most age groups and abilities.

Our walks vary in length from 4 to 12 miles and cover most of the Midland counties including the northern part of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Occasional trips further afield are made by coach and holidays are organised in the UK and occasionally abroad.
